Lisa Ray Jacobs - English Voiceover Artist


Lisa trained as an actress at the prestigious Drama Centre London.  She began her career with Pocket Theatre, Cumbria playing Catherine Morland in an adaptation of Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey.  She then continued to take on various theatrical roles in France, from Brecht’s Jewish Wife to Angela in Mike Leigh’s Abigail’s Party, as well as the role of Melitta in Nicholas Wright’s Mrs Klein, a play she also produced.

Film and TV credits include: Genius Einstein for Fox21 Television, Imagine & National Geographic, Barbara (Mathieu Amalric), Skylab (Julie Delpy), Gainsbourg – (Vie héroïque) (Joaan Sfar), Une Famille Formidable, Commissaire Cordier and Un Petit Grain de Folie.  In 2012, Lisa co-starred in and produced Inside Out by Ambarish Manepalli, a short made for the 48h Go Green Film Competition of which it was a finalist.

Since 2016 she uses the pseudonym Lisa Ray-Jacobs for her work as an actress and voice-over artist.

A Smith and Sara M know each other pretty well – on-line, that is.  But how can this kooky conspiracy theory journalist meet this lonely agoraphobic woman beyond the confines of their hermit-like existence, an existence that depends entirely on being constantly plugged-in?  Could the imminent threat of a power failure force them both out?  Force them both to experience, at long last, a different kind of electricity…

Lisa plays the role of Brigitte’s agent (l’Agent de Brigitte).

Genius (TV Series 2017)

From Executive Producers Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, National Geographic’s first scripted anthology series, GENIUS, will focus on Nobel Prize-winning physicist Albert Einstein.

The cast includes Geoffrey Rush, Johnny Flynn and Emily Watson.
